About Us

Latinmines is written by investors not promoters.  The project started because we were taking notes about mining in Latin and South America for our own investment research.  It got cumbersome to continue sending Google Docs links of notes we had taken to fellow investors.  

Our current readership is tiny and everything we write is free.  As we grow we will continue to not take money from companies.  We may add a paid subscription level so our readers can support our written analysis and in return they would get advance access to some of that writing before our free subscribers.  Our free subscribers already get advance access to all of our writing before it goes public and gets posted on social media like Twitter.  We like that model where everything we write eventually ends up public and free because it let's our writing help the most people make better investing decisions.
